HDPE pipe is a cost-effective solution for stormwater conveyance and drainage. With low production and install costs, it compares favourably to many traditional pipe systems – particularly with regard to on-site, freight and labour costs. Due to its lightweight composition, longer lay lengths, ease of installation and lack of bell holes, HDPE can represent significant
How does the cost of HDPE Pipe compare to traditional materials? Read More »
Yes. HDPE pipe that is installed with appropriate backfill is laterally supported, which ensures load-bearing capacity and trafficability. Vertical external loads (such as above-ground traffic) place deflective forces on HDPE pipe. However, this vertical deflection is resisted by the horizontal pressure of the backfill surrounding the pipe. The resulting horizontal pressures mean that the forces

HDPE pipe is characterised by its lightweight yet structurally strong formula and offers a strong alternative to RCP pipe for stormwater applications. High density polyethylene is a polymer that is inherently resistant to corrosion, abrasion and other environmental factors. The resilience, durability and ease of installation of HDPE make it a great alternative to other

HDPE (high-density polyethylene) and polypropylene are polymers used throughout plastic pipe applications in many industries. These polymers have different physical properties which reflect their chemical compositions and formulation. There are many benefits to choosing HDPE compositions for pipe systems over polypropylene, including. These include but are not limited to – Better deflection and stress resistance

Atlan Flow ADS Pipe conforms to ASTM F2306 and AASHTO M252/M294 standards. These pipes must meet random inspection grades, and if they do not meet the grade – the plant producing the pipe must cease production. This leads to tightly controlled standards and quality control checks. AS2566 buried flexible pipeline standards are also met by
Which standards does AtlanFlow ADS Pipe meet? Read More »
The maximum cover of Atlan Flow is dependent on the diameter of the pipe and the specifications of the backfill used. If backfill does not meet required quality checks, is poorly compacted or is graded incorrectly, the maximum cover will not be able to be achieved. For traffic applications total minimum cover is 300mm for
