What is the void ratio of a geocellular OSD tank system?

Void ratio is the efficiency of total storage volume compared to the gross volume per module. Different geocellular systems have void ratios that are influenced by their design specifications – such as module configuration, requirements for internal walls, and module size.

These factors all influence void ratio, and void ratios for different systems can be compared –

The AtlanCube features a 97% void ratio, which gives it industry-leading retention, detention and infiltration capabilities compared to alternative geocellullar OSD systems. The high percentage of storage volume to gross tank volume, and low module count per cubic metre of tank, ensure that the AtlanCube is a highly efficient solution for water quantity applications.

The increased void ratio of its design is aided by not requiring internal walls – which increases available volume per module. With a highly efficient packing configuration, and large module size (1150mm x 1150mm x 780mm), the AtlanCube ensures that these efficiencies are conveyed throughout project design and installation phases.
