A Renewable, Sustainable System for High-Use Strip Drain Applications
AtlanChannel is our locally manufactured channel drainage technology, which takes a leap forward for sustainable stormwater conveyance, with its solar-powered fabrication and support of circular economies through the utilisation of renewable materials.
Manufactured locally in Australia and New Zealand, the system reduces reliance on virgin quarried materials and introduces a patented polymer mix incorporating sustainably sourced feedstock. Providing a unique blend of benefits for developers, engineers, and councils, AtlanChannel features anti-shunt grate locking, renewable materials, p5 slip rating, and robust traffic loading.
Its innovative design provides a renewable, sustainable and eco-friendly alternative to conventional concrete drains, supporting pathways to greener infrastructure projects with long-term viability and lower environmental impact.
AtlanChannel is also compatible with FlowGuard, our SQIDEP verified tertiary filtration solution for deployment in strip drain installations.
This combination offers decentralised stormwater treatment solutions in a compact footprint – with FlowGuard’s tested treatment efficiencies demonstrating high-performance pollution removal capabilities for hydrocarbons, heavy metals, total phosphorus (TP), and total nitrogen (TN).

Anti-Shunt Technology
Enhancing safety, resilience and reliability under longitudinal forces, the design of the AtlanChannel incorporates anti-shunt technology across its ductile-iron, galvanised steel and stainless-steel ranges. Incorporating an innovative edge rail system, this technology firmly fastens the grates using stainless steel M10 bolts to ensure that grates cannot shift or ‘shunt’ in trafficable applications.
Renewable Materials for Circular Economies
Engineered to meet sustainability requirements in modern development, AtlanChannel is composed of recycled glass and gravel content, which diverts millions of glass bottles from landfill each year and incorporates renewably sourced street sweepings in its patented polymer mix.
Australia recycles 56% of its glass packaging each year. AtlanChannel bridges the gap between economics and the environment by supporting circular economies through the replacement of virgin quarried materials with renewable alternatives.

Non-slip & Trafficable
Featuring Class D loading capabilities and a P5 non-slip rating, AtlanChannel is engineered for both performance and safety, making it ideal for high-traffic areas such as loading bays, forecourts, car parks, and public walkways.
For critical infrastructure applications such as airports, highways, and rail projects, heavy-duty designs are also available on request in Class E and Class G load-rated designs.
