We are excited to share that the half-height AtlanFilter has received stage 1 approval by Auckland Council, joining our existing approval for our full-height model in 2022.
A versatile cartridge system for tertiary treatment applications that can be housed in concrete and fibreglass tanks, AtlanFilter is an ideal filtration solution for a diverse range of stormwater treatment applications, including –
- Car Parks and Shopping Centres
- Council Depots
- Industrial Estates
- Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Airport Aprons & Tarmacs
- Transport Depots & Loading Bays
- Tunnels
- Highways & Transport Corridors
- Recycling Yards
We believe clean waterways are a right, not a privilege. AtlanFilter is a high-performance system for removing urban pollutants at the source in our urban catchments – protecting our vital waterways.
The AtlanFilter has been rigorously tested and verified through leading Australian and American stormwater performance protocols – SQIDEP & TAPE.
Demonstrating valid performance claims, the AtlanFilter has shown SQIDEP-verified treatment efficiencies of 85% Total Suspended Solids (TSS), 74% Total Phosphorus (TP), and 59% Total Nitrogen (TN). These systems also feature high-performance removal of dissolved metals such as copper and zinc.
High-Performance Filtration with a Compact Footprint
AtlanFilter is a filtration cartridge system designed for installation in OSD tanks, filter bays, and a wide range of filtration configurations.
The cartridges upflow treatment process maximises treatment surface area and features an automatic backwash cycle that flushes the cartridges after each storm event – maximising media lifespan and reducing maintenance requirements.
Reducing operating expenditure, the AtlanFilter’s filter media is replaceable, and features ‘swap and go’ capabilities which enhance sustainability by enabling the reuse of filter cartridges.

Advanced Filtration
Comprehensive testing has shown our half-height 1.5L/s flow rate filters match the performance of our 3L/s full-height models, offering a customisable solution to meet your project flow rates, catchment sizes, and footprint requirements.
A scalable solution that can be adapted to a range of on-site stormwater treatment scenarios, our full-size filters can treat runoff from 1,137 m² per cartridge, with half-size models treating 568 m². This represents the highest rates of any approved filters in Auckland, which leads to project savings and increased land yield with fewer filters required on site.
