Everyone takes their job seriously but refuse to take themselves too seriously. I appreciate that we wake up and go to work making a difference to New Zealand\u2019s pristine waterways. Our waterways and beaches are known worldwide \u2013 and our job is to make them a bit better, every day.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-37a325e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"37a325e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Why is stormwater infrastructure integral to New Zealand\u2019s future?<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ed9251d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ed9251d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>If we want a clean and prosperous future for our kids, we must protect our water \u2013 and Atlan\u2019s Joy in Water message rings particularly true in New Zealand.<\/p><p>There is a Maori saying here that is:<\/p><p><em>\u2018Ka ora te wai, ka ora te whenua, ka ora nga tangata\u2019<\/em> which translates to \u2018<em>If the water is healthy, the land is healthy, the people are healthy\u2019.<\/em> This is absolutely true.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9e22a70 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9e22a70\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">How is Atlan improving stormwater design for the local market?<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d9340de elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d9340de\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>I appreciate Atlan\u2019s commitment to R&amp;D \u2013 and we do more research than any other stormwater treatment company that I know of in the southern hemisphere. Our products are world leading \u2013 and being at the cutting edge is a game-changer.<\/p><p>We go to work each morning and we help local councils meet their stormwater quality requirements and create designs that meet site specifications for civil engineers to comply with council standards.<\/p><p>A key point of difference for Atlan in the NZ marketplace is that everything we sell is manufactured by Atlan \u2013 it\u2019s a local, high-performance product that helps keep delivery and pricing under control.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f19b6c9 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"f19b6c9\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-71d81dc elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"71d81dc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Which standout projects have you been a part of?<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ea304a5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ea304a5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>We have not long supplied the largest ever oily water separator ever made in NZ as part of a comprehensive treatment train solution for stormwater quality.<\/p><p>This flagship project saw us design, install and manufacture secondary treatment assets to hold 130,000 litres of hydrocarbon spill with stormwater flowrates of 70l\/sec. This was part of a treatment train as immediately downstream was a vault full of AtlanFilters for treating copper, zinc and lead as well as nutrient and fine TSS.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d97308e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d97308e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What are your passions outside of work?<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-50864bc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"50864bc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In my free time I\u2019ll be found constantly doing maintenance to a 100-year-old house but whenever I can extract myself from that my favourite thing to do is to head down to the beach with the family &#8211;
